Join The Opposite Way Movement

Whatistheoppositeway All of us in Leeland want to thank you for your prayers and constant support. We spend a lot of time away from our families and homes, and it really does make a difference.

I want to take a minute to share something with you that is very heavy on my heart; something all of us can do that will truly change the world.

Our new album is called Opposite Way. All of us in Leeland want you to know that this is so much more than an album title – it is a decision to live each and every day of your life for Jesus Christ. It is our heart’s desire to help raise up a new generation of worshippers, who aren’t afraid to live different from the world; who aren’t afraid to live the opposite way. You aren’t going to look cool, and you’re not going to fit in when living the opposite way. However, the peace and contentment in the arms of Jesus, are worth everything, compared to the nothingness that this passing world will offer.

As you wake up every morning and choose to live the opposite way, live your life with the understanding that you do not have to prove anything to the Lord. He sees you as washed in the blood of the Lamb. Come just as you are. He cares about the desires of your heart, and the dreams He has placed in you. There’s not a hurt, there’s not a damage, that can’t be undone. There aren’t broken pieces that can’t be put back together by the love of Jesus. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the thoughts and the plans that I have for you. Plans to give you a future, and a hope.” God loves you, you are His child. When you cry ‘Abba, Father,’ God will come.

The opposite way is really the only way. Make your daily decisions based around this idea. Be different from the world. Go the opposite way in love. Go the opposite way in peace. Go the opposite way to make a difference. Go the opposite way with the understanding that Jesus died a horrible death so that you could spend eternity with God, the Father.

Jesus went the opposite way. He is still going the opposite way. Don’t you think it’s time we did, too?

In Christ,
Leeland Mooring
