There is no such thing as an easy life. Sometimes we have to deal with things that we don't deserve or like. But we just have to tell ourselves that this is all part of it and through these obstacles, we become stronger.

This post came on Saturday May 15th in the middle of waiting with my Mom as she was dying...Cared for her for two years with dementia.... hurting and saw this post, downloaded, pasted/chord and lyrics. Taught them to myself and sang w/guitar. She went home to be with Jesus yesterday and right before she did I sang to her "I will rise and You never let go". Thanks for this ministry and the Holy Spirit leading to bless me and my mom.

I'm really glad to see this post. This encourages me that modern worship is making some strides to fill the suffering vacuum. If we as worship leaders do not add suffering and pain to the vocabulary of our worship language, we will alienate the sufferers in our congregations who are seeking God's answers for earth's problems. This stirred up a blog-post about "Suffering: The Elephant in the Sanctuary": http://www.zachicks.com/blog/2010/6/2/suffering-the-elephant-in-the-sanctuary.html

Many Churches love to sing Watchin' Over Me, by Bruce & Jennifer Searl. http://www.aardvarkhill.com/audio/Watchin_Over_Me.m3u
It was composed as part of children's musical "Answering the Call," but it was inspired by some friends in our church who were involved in a tragic car accident the day before we wrote it. The accident took the life of one high school girl's mother, Sue Bressi, and seriously injured her sister Katie and her friend, Holly Stout. Holly suffered severe head trauma and was in a coma in ICU for over a month. She was not expected to live. Her doctors believed that even if she did live, she would be severely brain damaged. But God "watches over us!" Some of the ladies who were with her constantly during the weeks of her coma, sang this song to her over and over again. (Jennifer had previously shared it at an evening service.) When Holly finally awoke from her coma, she was barely able to whisper "daddy" to her father. But the next time someone came to sing at her bed side (despite having never conciously heard the song before), she knew and sang along with, Watchin' Over Me. Around our church, it become known as "Holly's song." Watchin' Over Me took on even broader local relevance due to the the tragic events at one of our local high schools, Thurston High, in Springfield OR., which occurred a couple of days after it was written. Watchin' Over Me brings great comfort to many people of all ages by reminding us all of His deep and close attention to our every situation and need, and His promise to be near us always.

Not only an excellent way to promote a new business, but a reliable way to increase sales. In this economy, this is definately a way to sustain your growth. Who doesn't need more clients? Give it away if you can, and keep traffic coming in!
