All of us in Leeland want to
thank you for your prayers and constant support. We spend a lot of time away
from our families and homes, and it really does make a difference.
I want to take a minute to
share something with you that is very heavy on my heart; something all of us
can do that will truly change the world.
Our new album is called Opposite Way. All of us in Leeland want you to know
that this is so much more than an album title – it is a decision to live each
and every day of your life for Jesus Christ. It is our heart’s desire to help
raise up a new generation of worshippers, who aren’t afraid to live different
from the world; who aren’t afraid to live the opposite way. You aren’t going to
look cool, and you’re not going to fit in when living the opposite way.
However, the peace and contentment in the arms of Jesus, are worth everything,
compared to the nothingness that this passing world will offer.
As you wake up every morning
and choose to live the opposite way, live your life with the understanding that
you do not have to prove anything to
the Lord. He sees you as washed in the blood of the Lamb. Come just as you are.
He cares about the desires of your heart, and the dreams He has placed in you.
There’s not a hurt, there’s not a damage, that can’t be undone. There aren’t
broken pieces that can’t be put back together by the love of Jesus. Jeremiah
29:11 says, “I know the thoughts and the plans that I have for you. Plans to
give you a future, and a hope.” God loves you, you are His child. When you cry
‘Abba, Father,’ God will come.
The opposite way is really
the only way. Make your daily
decisions based around this idea. Be different from the world. Go the opposite
way in love. Go the opposite way in peace. Go the opposite way to make a
difference. Go the opposite way with the understanding that Jesus died a
horrible death so that you could spend eternity with God, the Father.

I don't think we should be terming the walk of disciples of Jesus as the 'opposite' way - it is actually the 'right' way. It is the world that is in 'opposition' to God and therefore walking the 'opposite' way. That is why repentance is needed. You need to re-think your theology; your intentions are right - your theology is wrong.
“The Opposite Way” challenges me to defy the way of the world. It’s a call to live as Jesus did, a reminder that He’s conquered all, an acknowledgement that we are “strangers and exiles on earth” and a promise that we will enjoy “something better,” eternity in His presence. Our culture is largely at odds with the teachings of Christ; I seek to follow the “right” way, which, to me, often does feel like the “opposite” way.
The right way would be your true spiritual family. The wrong way would be those who promote the culture of death...like whoredom and adultery.
Persecution of goodness and stifling faith, destroying hope, worshiping in falsehood, lying to the holy spirit, supporting terrorism. These things are Wickedness. The Lord abhors all wickedness. He abhors lying.
His Son is The Way, the truth, and the life.
Jesus saves sheep. How much more value more is a man over a sheep?
Everyone ask yourself not if you are going in the right direction.
Do you worship him with your lips and is your heart with him also?
He preserves the lives of his saints.
