As worship leaders Sunday's can be our most rewarding and also most exhausting days of the week. Every Monday we begin our week with a devotion and prayer time with the entire staff at the office. It's a great way to just take a few minutes to slow down before things get crazy.
What do you do on Monday's to clear your head and refresh your spirit for the next week?

Jack and coke! Ha ha ha! Seriously, I think Monday should be a day off for ministry staff - oh and Friday and Saturday as well.

mmmm... i think if we want a great and satisfactory week, first we've give our work, our family, our properties on God's hands!!!!.
Every morning i talk to God i feel sefe, even if i am driven i talk to him, even if i am at work i speak to him because he control my life.
that's the key, let him control your life and you would see all his blessings from him
GBY!!!!

I'm nearing the end of my seminary training (done in May) and will start full time as an Associate Pastor of Worship and Outreach on July 1. Right now, after a full Sunday...I hit the books and attend clases on Mondays. But as I contemplate this new position I've been thinking about the distinction of "working from my rest" vs. "resting from my work." The former would entail taking Saturday off and then, from that rest, entering into ministry on Sunday. The latter option would be the Monday off. I could write more...but what do you all think of this?

On Mondays I really do start to seek the Lord in preparing my heart to be transformed and what songs He desires for the following week. We home school so Mondays are our family day, but to keep seeking the Lord and being sensitive to Him.
