10 Free Songs from Crowder

These songs are no longer free but we think you should still check them out! (6/27/2013)

David Crowder*Band delivered their last album Give Us Rest or (a requiem mass in c [the happiest of all keys]) in January 2012. It marked the end of the era that brought songs to the church like “O Praise Him,” “Everything Glorious,” “No One Like You,” and many more. Now Crowder is making music on his own, but you can still get one last album from the band.

All This For A King: The Essential Collection from DC*B releases today and to celebrate we wanted to give you 10 free songs from Crowder.  Many of these songs discuss the glory of God, which we felt was appropriate since Sunday was the beginning of the Pentecost season on the Christian calendar.

Pentecost Sunday marks the first time in history that the disciples experienced God’s glory coming to rest on those that walk in His truth and confess that Jesus Christ is our salvation.  We hope you find a way to use these songs in your services over the next few weeks as we remember that moment in history.

  1. Love the conversation that is happening but let’s try to keep it relevant to the content of the post if we can. If you haven’t read our comment policy I would encourage you to do so!

For those looking for free MP3s, follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Each Friday we give away a free MP3 as part of our Free Song Friday.

  2. I appreciate the lead sheets for sure, but I have to agree with the notion that saying “free songs” is misleading. If that was not the intent, which I am sure it wasn’t, I highly recommend changing to “free lead sheets”. You don’t want people accusing you of playing some kind of bait and switch game.

The lead sheet is the song. Just because you are not getting the RECORDING of the song, you are still getting the song. I appreciate being able to download these free SONGS. You aren’t able to find this very often, except in one place: Worship Together. Thank you so much

  4. Hi,
It says that we get 10 free songs – how do we download them? I can’t seem to find that anywhere… Thanks

    • You can download the free lead sheets for each song by clicking on the songs individually. It will take you to the song page where you will see a large green button that says “Free Lead Sheet Download.”

  5. How do we download the songs?

Fantastic “Free Songs”except the truth is not the songs are free, but the lead sheets only are free. Only once I had a free song from you. Please change your way of advertising free songs and say honesty that the lead sheets are only free and the songs you need to buy. Honesty is the best policy.

  7. I’m confused – 10 free songs to download? Or 10 free songs of the lead sheets only?

I don’t have any option to download the songs, so is it only the lead sheets, or is there a fault with my computer?

    Thanks for any help.

    • It’s just the lead sheets this time. Sometimes we are able to give away the music as well, but not this time.

Honestly, folks, cannot we be appreciative of what is offered instead of complaining. You could purchase the lead sheets elsewhere if you do not prefer to get them free here.
